Inorder to meet his career objective, Dr. Mehta trained in MBBS and DGO (Obstetrics and Gynecology) from M P Shah Medical College, Jamnagar, Gujarat. Thereby, he finalized DNB qualification from K J Somaiya Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, Mumbai.
While performing medical duties, Dr. Mehta has attended various OPD’s such as Family Planning OPD, Infertility OPD, Adolescent Clinic, Cancer Screening Clinic, Postmenopausal Clinic and Osteoporosis Clinic, to name a few. He has executed several major and minor emergency operations involving Labour conduction with episiotomy repair, MTP, Tubectomy, D&C, Caesarean Section (LSCS), Lapartomy, Hysterectomy (Abdominal and vaginal), Ruptured Ectopic Pregnancy and Tuboplasty techniques. Over and above this, Dr. Mehta has imparted undergraduate training and regularly participated in departmental academic activities such as case presentations, journal reviews, seminars, death reviews etc.
